Aalto University
EfficienSea welcomes a "new" partner in the project, Aalto University that succeeds TKK as a partner in EfficienSea. This is due to an organisational change, where the previous EfficienSea partner TKK has merged with other institutes and become the new Aalto University.
Established in 2010, Aalto University is a new university with centuries of experience. It has been created by a merger of Helsinki School of Economics, Helsinki University of Technology and University of Art and Design Helsinki.

Aalto University started operating on 1 January 2010.

Aalto University succeeds TKK
In what concerns EfficienSea, Aalto University is the legal successor of the entity “Helsinki University of Technology” (TKK) and has overtaken the full responsibility of TKK in regards to its involvement in EfficienSea form 1 January 2010.

Aalto University contributes to work packages 4, 5 and 6.
